This has always been a great event and we are hoping that this year will be no different.

The points are pretty tight this year and we have seen some great racing thus far this year, as we turn the corner and head for the home stretch racing is only gonna get more intense!!

There was a problem with the online registration for Hardcore.

It has been fixed and should work for everyone now.
Those who tried unsuccessfully to register (looks like about 20 or so) please try again, it will work this time.

Last year there were spme comments about consistancy with the trophies, as a track decided not to provide anything. Once again GLORCS took the brunt of this and therefore this year we decided to ensure that trophies were provided at each race.

Looking at the participation for the season we averaged out the number of trophies with the allowed budget and came up with the following.
Buggy A - F Main, E Buggy A Main, Truggy A - D Main, Short Course - Open Class A Main, Short Course - Closed
A Main .

This improved the amount of trophies supplied from last year to 39 per race.

When the concern about the trophies was voiced I attended hardcore and spoke with Joe and Molly. To be clear at no time did glorcs advertise or announce that every main was going to receive trophies. Not sure where this expectation developed.

The trophy program is obviously in need of some improvement and I thank those who called and emailed their input. To those who chose to throw the flaming bagel at me, I heard you too!!!

I will close with this:
Everyone has an opinion on how the series should be run however few offer to assist in its implimentation. It is easy to bark expectations not so easy to take the time and actually make the changes. With this I would like to thank those like the reps that offer their time and patience in making the series happen, because without them I assure you there would not be a series to race.
